Joanne Octavia Ennis, 88, of Noblesville, passed away August 27, 2016. She was born December 21, 1927 to Chester and Bernice Stout.

Joanne married Donald W. Ennis on November 14, 1959 in Carmel, IN. She Retired from Roche Diagnostic in Indianapolis, IN, and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Millersville Masonic Lodge #126 Sahara Grotto and Eastern Star.

Joanne is survived by her sons, Dennis Ennis and Dorayne “Skeets’ Paulson (Linda); grandchildren, Jayson Lee Ennis (Darcy), Nicholas Ennis, and Denison Lee Gray; step grandchildren, Tammy Bolander (Doug), Jerry Miles (Joni), Tina Cruse (Richard), and Leslie Turpin; greatgrandchildren, Madison Ennis, Jayson Lee Ennis II, and Camdon Ennis; 10 step greatgrandchildren; 14 step great-greatgrandchildren; and 6 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Charles “Chick” Paulson; brother, John (Billie) Stout; and sister Rosemary (George) Goerke.

Services will be held Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Indiana Funeral Care, Harry W. Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, at 11:00 A.M. It will be conducted by Pastor Richard Bell of Calvary Baptist Church in Noblesville. The family will greet friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Immediately following, she will be laid to rest at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
